I saw this deal at a local Wally yesterday but already picked up the Play for $50.00 and waited to long to return it. I ended up getting the TF Galaxy A51 for $85.00 but gotta wait 60 days to unlock it

Just beware if you buy this directly from Walmart.com. They have a habit of not scanning the phone before shipping them, if they don't the phone will be marked "stolen/missing" and it cannot be used. Buying directly at the store is much safer.
Only 32gb of storage, but you can add more with an SD card, correct?
Yes, but that is the the same as internal storage. If you are an app junkie, you will run out of room fast. If you take a ton of photos or listed to a lot of music, the SD will help.
Not a bad phone if you need something cheap on AT&T. Speed is pretty decent, graphics are OK. The brightness is pretty damn dim though. Battery life seems pretty good, I have had one sitting here on stand-by for 12 days and the battery is at 31%. As mentioned in a separate reply, 32gb is going to choke you if you like apps as Android sucks up 15gb right out of the box.

Anyone now if this can be bootloader unlocked and rooted? I only ask because sometimes the prepaid version's have locked bootloaders while regular versions can be rooted. Thanks in advance
I got the Play at end of October, 2021. AT&T rep. told me the other day will not unlock for 6 months!!! I thought it was 60 days but rep. told me 6 months. Play is decent little phone for the price. I paid $35 for mine at Target but that was because rep. sold it to me for $39.99 and I had 10% off coupon. Got the phone and $30 prepaid card for $65. Unlike AT&T and other stores, Target does NOT charge tax or fees on prepaid cards, at least not in Texas.
