I have been wanting a griddle/flat top grill to add to my outdoor cooking collection. While this may not be the best, for $200, it is really hard to beat. It is the same model as the Blue Rhino that sells at Lowes for $400. This model is also for sale at amazon for about $400.

I also got $15 off for oversize shipping. This model can be collapsed and transported.

Total for me out the door was $242.42 after shipping and tax. You can get $20 off coupon for signing up for email or texts, but I had already done that. EDIT: Seems as though Dicks will not allow you to use the email or text coupon on this purchase.

Just be warned this is not preseasoned. You will have to season it, but I think it is worth the $200+. Also the grease trap is kinda in a weird spot, but that's a miner nit pick.
I had one of these and swapped over to a Blackstone as soon as I could. That "sear zone" on the right side is a design failure. They had to put a plate under that area to guard some of the cheap hoses. Because of this the right burner gets way hotter than the other area. They put a red knob on it and called it a "sear zone" to make it seem like it was intentional. The burners don't burn consistently so you really have to learn how this grill works before being able to cook consistently on it. Buy a Blackstone or the Home Depot brand. They're way better in my opinion
It has wheels so it's portable and moveable. Set this up at a park and start your own hot dog, taco stand

Wouldn't one be better off getting a griddle if they already have a gas grill?

I tried but it just didn't work as well for some reason

But this folds up nicely and has a cover for itself

I'll take a shot if I can get the coupon code to work
Shipping sucks

Same here.

If the $20 off coupon does not work then I feel like getting the Members Mark griddle at Sam's Club might be the better deal.

That is certainly an option to buy or make one. The OP is large at 37" .... so there is that.

The big difference is this one folds down for portability, if you are just going to leave in your own backyard, then there's no real difference and the Sam's club item may be a better deal for you

Not sure what Sam's has, but if you already have a grill, the expense is just a griddle.

At 118 lbs plus the gas tank, the OP is not all that portable for many, but I suppose doable. I saw some Blackstone's at Lowes the other day and although a bit pricey, they are some nice grills/griddles.

This is 118lbs, not what you would drag to a park lol. This is about spot on specs of the Blackstone 36", $100 cheaper. There are many other smaller, portable models if you wanted to bring around with you.

I bought a Blackstone this size many years ago. I really wish I got the smaller one. It's just so big and a hassle to roll in/out of our shed every time we want to use it. I've only used the full surface area a few times.
