This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

Anyone know why Best Buy keeps canceling my orders for the iPhone 13? I am able to go through the entire purchasing process with an existing Tmobile Upgrade line and checkout. Within 2 minutes my order is canceled.

No real reason is provided other than a canned email stating " unfortunately we encountered an issue while processing your order so we had to cancel it."

I have tried different credit cards that are tied to different addresses and the result is the same. Even created a new Best Buy account and order was again canceled. The only thing the same was my name.

I have purchased multiple phones in the past online from Best Buy for store pickup with no issues. Not sure why it is flagged now.

Is it something to do with T-Mobile? I have 9 lines on a grandfathered One Plus account.

Tried online BB it seems only Upgrade options works fine and you are able to place the order.
But still adding a line to the existing account has issues. Not sure if some else also facing this issue? If so how you ppl managing to place the order? Thanks

I think some system issues currently BB end. I had quick chat with BB rep they confirmed it. Asked to visit the local BB store!

I have 2 iphone 12 minis from a previous TMO EIP deal. I paid off the phones and still receive the EIP credits. I have not opened the phones (hoping to flip), though I have tried to get TMO to unlock but no go.

I'm thinking trade these in for iphone 13 mini but not sure it really is beneficial for me as they are still locked to TMO anyway and I will have to shell out $123 after tax as well.

Any thoughts or suggestions on my scenario?
unlock after 40 days, worst case, is what I hear

Would also like to know. There has been talk here of today only, but
I don't see this under deal of the day, 24 hour flash sale, or even top deals for the week.

just wondering if not currently on T-mobile, does it make sense to trade in XR from TW and select those $50+ mega plans? i don's see non-mega plans as a option on BB
You have to compare to your current carrier rate to see which one better. This deal typically for people having Grandfather/ Simple Choice plan which is very cheap after tons of Free lines promotions. For new users, I think you should go to T-mobile website directly or Costco, they will give you better value with port-in and trade-in.

Wireless between phones. But they will charge you $40 for the service. Better do it yourself if you don't want to spend $40

be careful, they might charge you $40 for that.
Some reps are nice and will let you do the backup next to them as they help other customers.
Keep in mind that they need your trade in at the time that the sale is being made since they have to pack it up and include the paperwork for it.

Don't be that guy that doesn't have his stuff backed up. I have done this deal about 4 times (back around October of last year) and I noticed some customers would come in and not have anything backed up.

I suggest backing up to iCloud, backing up on your computer, or backup to a spare phone so that you can do the 'iPhone to iPhone' transfer on your own time.

It's up to the rep if they will charge you or not.

I just went through the purchasing process with an existing Tmobile Upgrade line. During checkout, there is an option to have free service from Best Buy to backup and transfer your contents from the old phone to new phone.

While this is a convenience, I would not recommend this as you'll be waiting at the store for backup as well as transfer to complete; and the information stored on your phone is now packaged to a best buy laptop or desktop, not knowing how secure the system is.

Just my 2 cents, if you don't have an alternate means, you do have the option mentioned above.
yeah that's a pain when i see someone hog the mobile desk to do these things. but if you have no alternative thats the way it goes. i've done a few upgrades and all i do is give them my phone etc...it's quick.
