This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

BB didn't open the box but scanned all the barcodes. I was able to take out and pop in my Visible sim and use right away. Unlocked?

Yes. Several of us did that with the Mother's Day iPhone 12 deal
Got my iPhone 12 Pro from the Mother's Day deal as well! Could you walk me through if you don't mind? Is it really just as simple as putting the SIM card from the iPhone 12 Pro to iPhone 13 pro, and send in the iPhone 12 Pro for trade-in?

From the very helpful wiki of https://slickdeals.net/f/15340573-for-t-mobile-plans-trade-in-apple-iphone-and-save-up-to-975-on-iphone-13s-or-other-brands?v=1
Thanks! For me, the response to both texts was "service access denied "

ETA: this access denied message can be removed by T-Mobile chat, by asking them to enable short codes on your line:
https://community.t-mobile.com/accounts-services-4/service-access-denied-texting-error-11017

So, I opted in the BB texts but still getting the error on the website saying try again later. Bah, running out of things to try other than going to a store, which is so often a shitshow around here.

The 13 pro does not have $100 off.

But regarding the deal, click the link on the first post. Select the 13/pro that you want. Be sure you click one time payment and then add to cart.

At the next page click on upgrade. Enter the details of your 12 pro. So let's say the 13 pro is $1000 and they give you $700 for your 12 pro (I have no idea what the value is, just throwing out a number) it would be $300 plus tax that you would pay.

Once you get the ready to pick up email, go to Best Buy, they scan the 13 pro bar codes and start the 12 pro trade in process.

Some reps activate the new sim, some do not.

But yes, this deal is extremely easy.

Only one time did a rep activate my SIM card. I did not care since it's for my personal use. The other times they did not activate the SIM card

Wow, thanks OP. Actually a deal that works for me for a change. Had a 8 Plus and a Xs that I traded in for two 13's. Total price is less than one new iPhone 13.

Anyone else having an issue where the $100 off ($699 back to $799) goes away in checkout page?

No issue at all. I did this last month. But you should cancel on day 1 to avoid paying $30 activation fee and full month bills.
If you're a member of AARP (costs like $12 a year and several of my CCs give $8 back right now) all activation fees are waived.

Did something similar and all 4 of my phones had waived activation fees.

Won't it show pending order or something? Do we have to waitntill the trade in is checked I'm or something? Is it must to turn on the new iPhone 13 with the same tmo sim that did the upgrade ? Thanks!!
Finishing the transaction means you pick it up + trade in the devices, then you place the last 2 orders.

If my device is still on installment plan (from mother's day deal), can i still do trade in or it has to pay off first?

I had to pay mine off before I could move forward. Others seem to indicate T-Mobile unlocked for them without payoff(?)

Which phone is the best android phone with an iPhone SE from Total Wireless to trade in? The Samsung Galaxy S21+ is on sale for $649 from T-Mobile, does it support eSIM?

BEST BUY or T-mobile doesn't care if you trade that iphone which is monthly installments or sell it. You are free to trade in that phone.
Pay-off not needed.

Only when you cancel that line on t-mobile then you need to pay-off
