This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

Refresh daily and hourly. Back when this deal was available October - November, I remember refreshing early mornings and stock would show up here and there.
Thanks for the tip. Will do!

Total noob here, but I got an old iphone 11 pro with a cracked screen.

I know these aftermarket screen replacements not from apple lose HDR and may be thicker. Are these still valid for tradein?

Also is this a bigger discount than the normal tmobile trade in offers?

Should be good. Depends how thorough the Best Buy rep is.

Best trade in deals with T-Mobile is if you are on magenta max, but that deal requires bill credits.

Most of us are hoping for a similar Mother's Day deal from last year. T-Mobile let you trade in as low as an 8 for a new 12 with monthly installments. Any rate plan basically qualified.

If I don't have TMO, does it make sense to port my number over from Google Fi (I'm paying $60 on their unlimited plan, not much difference from the TMO Essentials plan which is $65), use TMO for a few months, ask TMO to unlock my phone, then port back to Google Fi? Would this be possible?

Hey guys, if I wanted to "gift" the phone and leave it in new condition, can I just put my sim in there once to activate it , take out the sim use it on old phone, wait 40 days and request an unlock? And would I be able to do this with multiple phones at once πŸ‘€

How many were in stock when you placed it? Usually happens when it shows 1 in stock. I placed one last night at a store that said 1 left. Just got a ready for pickup message.

Try to go in store and do the deal.

is this just a deal because bestbuy is giving good credit towards trade-ins? I have an iphone X and it's been slowing lately so it seems like now is a good time to upgrade

That won't work. You would need 40 days of service on each phone for them to unlock. It won't unlock automatically after 40 days if the phone didn't have service. That being said, some people are having luck requesting an immediate unlock from T-Mobile via twitter.

It's a deal because BestBuy discounted the price of the iPhone 13 by $100 and they're also giving a bonus credit on trade ins. Not a bad time to trade in if you don't like bill credits.

Risky. Technically it should work since you bought it outright.

A few years ago, I received some cheap android devices from T-Mobile for signing up with them. I put my chip and made a few test calls, and used some data so it could register on tmobiles end. Fast forward to 40 days and I took that sim out of my iPhone and tried to unlock and I was not qualified. I think the timer reset once I put the chip in my iPhone.

I eventually gave up on those devices. T-Mobile can't even unlock them because it has to be done via the app in that android phone.

Also, I believe there is a limit on how many T-Mobile can unlock for you. I'm not sure how strict they are with that

Is it worth trading in an iPhone 12 for $150?
