This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

I have 2 $300 Costco card rebates I'm still waiting on.
Can I upgrade my phones while I wait for this rebate, or should I wait?
do they check the IMEI when driving the rebate to see it's still active?
thanks

Anyone with the T-Mobile One Plan keep getting the message "There's an error and please try again" from Best Buy? Went to the Best Buy store and even the rep couldn't figure out why

putting in order for more than one phone is PIA. horrible in this day of AI/ML. CC's getting declined, reps not able to clear those, Tmobile crapping out and eventually Best Buy crapping out. Tried on latest MacBook Pro with safari and chrome, its anguish to try and save some $$. So guys have patience it not easy to save this $100 or multiples there of, now that everyone got paid this Friday.

I got that error over probably hundreds of tries — gave up and went in store. I was creating a new account so a bit different situation but before that I was trying to have a friend on T-Mobile setup upgrade trade in for me and got the same ridiculously useless error. T-mo integration on BB website is hot garbage.

Check a few posts up. I'm not sure about the exact error message but someone said something about something international being on their plan. Once they removed it, it worked

I have Magenta Max and many free lines, so BC aren't an issue. Doing this deal through TMO cost me about $230 less net in end than BB pay in full deal for this iP13. Max only costs me $1.50 per line/mo lol.

On the flip side, I chose BB S21's for $500 over doing TMO bill credits. As the difference was less than $50 in the end. . .and gives my account more room/flexibility for financing/BC deals later. . .
I get it, I meant more towards it being an expensive plan and according to others and the website, it's 30 months worth of bill credits. That's a long time.

I personally did 2 Mother's Day deal trading in iPhone 8 and getting 'free' iPhone 12 via 24 months on a simple choice plan. 10 lines for around $200 a month. Others have it cheaper.

Most of us are hoping for another Mother's Day deal with at the minimum an iPhone XR for a 13. I would do the bill credits for simple choice with a deal like that.

You can try "Apple-Generic" as the wireless provider. Oddly they have Tracfone as a choice, but not Total Wireless. Seems like people have gone the Generic route before.

But I might be inclined to do this type of deal in store. Let them choose the provider (Verizon) once they enter the IMEI, and no waiting for it being declined for one reason or another a week later. Doubt they will check if screen is OEM etc. in store.

I know, $30 to go that route. Can always ask for the $30 back later.
FYI Total is under Tracfone!

Any others able to verify trading in a locked TW phone works? Also, trading in new phone doesn't raise any red flags?

What about other prepaid companies like Straight Talk or Cricket or Boost? Plenty of those available for cheap on FB, but most of them are locked to those carriers.

Traded in my dads iphone 12 that was still under EIP today and got an iphone 13 for only $50 after the trade-in. Sweet deal!

I trade in my personal iphone 12 pro on a 13 pro a few months ago and had no problem with the EIP and credits continuing on that line
