This is with bestbuy, so no bill credit involved, it's instant trade in value that deducts from the sale price, and tax is on the deducted selling price too. Don't mislead others.

ATT is $100 cheaper further. $500 for mini and $600 for regular. But trade in values are horrible.

T-Mo is still the best in value overall.

You can chat or call TMobile, set up an account and sign up for the $20 plan. They will send you a SIM. The whole process will take about 2-3 days. Once you activate that SIM, your account is ready to use
Are there any fees signing up for the plan this way.

Anyone able to get the trade in value for XS max fixed in store. Called customer care and they suggest to go to store and talk.

I was asking more about the TW side, is there any obligation on my end to TW to keep service for a certain amount of time for getting that iPhone 11 discounted? I know people said it might take 40 or so days to get it unlocked and that we might have to purchase another $25 plan in a month to keep it active until it can get unlocked so I want to clarify what my obligations are to TW or can I just take the phone to Best Buy, trade it in and that's the end of it? or do I have to keep the phone or keep buying another month of $25 plan etc.
You purchased the phone with no contract. There's no obligation.

I get the same error and haven't been able to find a solution. The only problem I can see on my end is that I used to have a line with Sprint and somehow the account migration to T-Mobile is causing an issue.

Did you get any phone from Costco or just the 2 lines for$20 each line? Why do you get the gift card? I was assuming you have to get phones. Please advise. Thank you.

also, is Sunday really the last day for this deal?
Costco has a promotion for adding a line with BYOD (bring your own device) and get a $300 gift card after 12-14 weeks. Need to keep service active for those 3+ months. You can port your number to them if you want to. I am not using the service and just paying $20/month. So, $300 - ($20 x 3or4) = $240 or $220 of free money for a little bit of effort (for each line).

No, I did.not buy any devices, but you can do other promos there as well for BOGO for IPhone 13 ($720 gift card).

Same here, have tried multiple times over multiple days, also have an old sprint account. Even went into my old sprint account (haven't had service with them in 4 years) and made sure my name and address were updated but nothing worked.

Yes I did. I told them I wanted to create a T-mobile account to get two lines with the $300 gift card for each - and that I wanted to use the $20/month plan. I was not charged an activation fee. I have heard some Costco associates resist the $20/month plan, but they get paid the same either way, so not sure why they resist.

You are supposed to have an IMEI that is T-Mobile compatible with you, but I didn't go prepared with that. The guys pulled two IPhone 8 generic sims for the promo so I didn't have to go home and get my IMEI's. I did not ask them to do that, they offered.

After I was done at Costco, I submitted the rebates online and then created a T-Mobile account online and connected my new lines to the account. Then, I put one sim in a device to make sure it works (to get the Best Buy text). This was all done within 2 hours of first getting the lines at Costco. If I had two devices to trade into Best Buy I would have done done the same trade / buy for the second line.

Not sure why they resist the $20 plan as they get paid the same regardless (I asked them). You could try another store and just be direct - friend did this, so why won't you allow it? That's up to you as to how much effort you want to put into it.

The Costco guys said they do this themselves every 4 months.

You have to go in the store. They will call tmobile to get it cleared up. Happened to me. Something about the address verification didn't work.
