At first I hated these, and now I love them after a break in period. They are firm and not bouncy and responsive. However, the technology of the foam combined with the high stack and the rods work wonders for my feet. I can run for days in these shoes. I don't experience fatigue in my feet at all. I feel that my feet are supported, cushioned and protected in these. It's not a speed shoe at all but you can eat up miles in these. I feel most comfortable at 7-8 minute mile pace in these.

They are comparable as far as the intended use as a daily trainer. If you expect these to feel like the Cliftons, you will be disappointed. They are firmer and not bouncy like the Hokas.

I'm going to try the pro 2s for my next marathon. Hopefully they are as comfortable as the pro for the distance. Would like to try the Takumi Sen 8.

Been doing light running on a cheap pair of Asics Gel Cumulus 22. I suppose these are a bit heavier but wonder how they compare to one another cushion-wise. Thanks in advance.

I bought a pair and these are good training shoes. I would not wear them for marathon day but great for racking up training miles.
