CEC Adapter: https://www.amazon.com/Pulse-Eigh...B005JU6L
i actually just leave it on and have the TV's inactivity set to something like 30-minutes, so I really only have to turn it on with the remote and let it turn itself off
i'll admit, having to use the remote drove me nuts for about the first couple of months, now it is just part of my normal routine.
i have the remote right next to my mouse pad, so I just have to tap the power button to turn on the TV.
like the other person said, there are some CEC accessories you can buy for your computer to help turn the TV on & off like a monitor when the computer comes on, but I never tried any of those things.
Edit: Did the 5% cancel trick; and it refunded $23.73 back to my CC. Final price = $401.26 + Tax + Recycle Fee
I bought it during Black Friday. It is my second 43" screen.
It is sitting on my desk about 30in away, side by side with an Acer ET430K.
I don't game on it, I don't use the "smart" functions.
I am a structural engineer and for my usage, resolution + size matters more than color accuracy.
You can have a complete drawing sheet open and see details. Can't beat that.
Yes, I have to turn my head to see everything on both screens but that is a lot better then scrolling and zooming.

You can grab adjustable stands all day long on Amazon, but thanks for giving everyone your opinion😁
I bought samsung thinking i could enjoy Tizen OS but the panel uniformity was horrendous. you get up from your desk and whole panel became white.
LG IPS, no freaking issue. worth the extra money if youre looking at the monitor 8hours or more a day.
Can chime in as I have this monitor too. I love it. It's basically perfect.

I'm debating on this or going with a 43" 4K TV (which would be cheaper).
