I think that was the 4gb/64gb unit, not the same exact specs.

But I just bought this at Bestbuy and ended up returning it. There are many things that I didn't like about this.
First is the fact that I can't get offline versions of MS Office apps. This is an MS issue, they stopped supporting chromebooks and have asked people to use their online version. I don't know what happens if I am trying to edit files offline w/o wifi. The chromebook comes with offline versions of outlook but not the regular outlook icon, weird. You can download MS Teams and one drive as apps though. I think we're in a transition stage and it's weird.
Second is that wifi wouldn't work once, even though it's connected, I couldn't download anything from the play store. Had to reboot for it to then auto-reboot.
Third, touch screen was not responsive when coming back from sleep, had to reboot.
Fourth, Still on Android 9, weird.

I do really like the included keyboard for the price, that is a huge plus. But w/o all the negatives, I ended up returning it and ordered a refurbished Galaxy Tab S7+ today on woot.

Just remember that the Snapdragon SC7180 processor found in this will perform quite similar to the Celeron N4020 found in a lot of cheaper Chromebooks, so don't expect the performance to be overwhelming.

I think I do like this deal.

Since I got the Lenovo 10e, I have become a fan of Chrome. This particular model - Duet 5, I feel is a bit big to use as a tablet... I use my 10e in bed and have fallen asleep and find it on the floor but i have child proof foam case and nothing ever happens. I don't think this one would do to well.

I am also confused about buying any tablet that uses pogo pins to attach a keyboard because you can't put on a child proof case.

Obviously, if you work with MS Office all the time, you may want a windows PC.

I feel this would make a good desktop, buy a USB-C hub and connect a mouse, keyboard, monitor, additional storage, etc... The one consideration is that you could only run QHD @ 60Hz... 2,560 x 1,440... you should be able to use a nice 32" monitor (but not a 3K or a 4K monitor).

What I would not recommend this for is MS Office and editing video even though both can still be done.

What I don't like about this is that the OS will expire at a certain date. My 9 year old Windows laptops are still fully upto date and still work amazing (did upgrade RAM and 1 TB SSD). What I don't like about Chromebooks is how hard it is to side load an app. But how many people sideload apps... not many. And the last thing I am not happy about is that it runs Android 9 32 Bit... it is not the Android but it is the 32 Bit OS when technically it can run a 64bit Android OS... they claim this is the OS that google has stated this CPU should use... don't expect any new Android OS.

When you compare this to other high end tablets... this one is cheaper and I feel it holds it own.

If you never had a Chromebook, there is a learning curve.

I also like this for techy students who want to know about Linux.

You got the play store, you got the chrome store and you got the Linux store. There are some very big advantages to having a Chromebook.

If your kid needs a Chromebook for school... I would consider this one very seriously.

Yes and no.

The efficiency of the SD will make your battery last hours longer. Android Apps work al ot better with SD.

About performance... I expect this tablet to feel as fast as the fastest computer while you are web surfing or playing android games. But if you expect to edit a 2 hour video (or 10 minute)... yah, you got the wrong machine.

And this is not just about the SD vs Celeron... you have a OLED display and it is a true tablet...

The real question is... This or the surface pro 7+ for $599? And honestly I personally would choose Microsoft but this one is still very tempting.

Yes, I read that on a article.

The issue is some apps only support 64bit OS. Such as call of duty. And to side load a older version is not fun. I have yet to test this fully on my Lenovo 10e. I got scared when it did a power wash.. but when everything was reinstalled, I feel more comfortable trying to side load.

Thnks.
