The only discount I could find around my area was priced at $700.
So I settled when I found a 560 for $350 earlier this week.

I just opened the box yesterday and took out a few of the items and the instructions.
Decided to search again before I start to fully assemble it.

Lo and behold I found a 1050 today for $400!
The unit was an assembled floor model, and it also included the Masterbuilt cover.

Also, while printing the receipt, the HD associate noticed a small dent on the side outer metal mesh of the stack, nothing that affects performance, and not really noticeable. Everything else looked new. He deducted another $20!

Time to return the 560.

Oddly, the 'clearance' result for that store only shows up part of the time (the other part of the time it doesn't even show that store). Was in the overhead rafters, rang up $400 w/ no issues/questions. Also got a cover for it for $35

Haha, not trying to do that. There's still another one left at La Cienega Home Depot in Los Angeles... Maybe elsewhere too!

Like I said, Brickseek didn't show me it was in stock at least half the times I checked (have been watching it for a couple months, trying to justify buying another smoker!).

I have a Vision Kamado-style smoker and a Blackstone griddle and I'm thinking of flipping both to get in on one of these. Any reason not to? These seem perfect!

I picked up one during the Christmas night PM and absolutely love it. I honestly would have a hard time spending $800 on it not knowing how long it will last. The thing really is a game changer for long cooks just set and forget. My only gripe is the app. It crashes for time to time and no low temp alarm. Hopefully MB will correct that with a update.
