how these compare to airpods pro? i love quality sound on the airpod pro but it does keep falling out of my ear after buying foam tips..
I had the Buds Live and sold them. I'm sure I was doing something wrong, but just couldn't get them to fit/stay. The sound quality was good when they weren't falling out.

I just bought the Airpod Pro and so far I like them. They stay in just about as good as my original Galaxy Buds 1st version and the noise cancelling is good for what they are.

Yeah, that is what they say but in almost all the cases previously I have seen the Bonus Gold offer as a separate entry in the transactions list right away. Perhaps they changed that. I will give it a week and contact support if I don't get the bonus.
Yep, that's my plan. I took a screenshot of the bonus offer with the date/time.

Samsung will email you a trade-in label. You have to ship the headphones.

Thumbs up. I like these because of the fit. They are the only earbuds that fit in my ears where I can also lay down with my ear resting on a pillow without discomfort. The ANC is just ok, but it's due to the open design so these don't seal into your ear canals. Other than that, the features I like are the usb c/wireless charging and that each bud can be used independently. No multipoint connection though.
Now I'm interested, thanks for the info!

Bacterias are already present in your ears but when ear plugs are in, their growth rate goes up exponentially so you should not be using them for too long even if you clean them regularly.

The buds live don't fully close up your ear canals so I like them better.

that's a poster that ignores common sense and looks for things to be afraid about

even the article linked states regular cleaning (ahem, daily showering) would be adequate to keep them clean

but let him/her worry

I will say... I have noticed this sometimes, too. But it seems to be *highly* variable with device.

I'm not sure what phone you were using, but for me the absolute *worst* Bluetooth performance (i.e. cutting in and out w/ phone in pocket) has actually been with my old phone (which I have repurposed as a 'podcasts' phone, since it has a 64 or 128gb microSD card in it)... a Samsung Galaxy S7.
(you'd think it'd be better, with them being 'made for one another', but no; if I had to guess, I'd say it had something to do w/ the older BT radio and/or receiver in the phone)

It's absolutely crystal clear when connected to my current phone (Google Pixel 4a), or to the iPad that I've been issued through work.

And it's also great when connected to the car stereo's Bluetooth, though that (admittedly) probably isn't a very tough test.

How do you skip financing?
Use the Samsung Edu site. It'll give you other options instead of financing. I just did what @gvm1997 recommended and it worked like a charm.

I was just asking/curious because it surprised me to see my 'hometown' paper being linked here in SlickDeals. Smilie

I just ordered my third pair of these Galaxy Buds Live because I freakin' love 'em.
(and no, I don't worry about ear canal bacterial growth from using these or any other type of ear bud)

I mean I already knew about the ear infection caused by ear buds but I was lazy and didn't wanna go into all the details myself. 🤣🤣
