if your not an apple fan samsung is having a pretty good sell on there s7 tab if you have a trade in then it gets even better. id say its a higher tier device then this it also inclused the s pen. But if you really want apple this is not horrible as apple sells are pretty rare

Do not get! It's not worth the money! the cheaper ipad is a better value, and the pro is a lot better. the air has not been updated in a year And is lacking some features like centerstage which is on all the other iPads.
Kinda of a hard sell when their refurbed iPad Pro 11 128gb is $599. Recently ordered mine and it arrived in new condition.
I had the same experience recently with a refurb 12.9" ipad pro from walmart, original box, perfect condition, 11 months left of warranty. Unfortunately I just couldn't get used to the larger size and weight of the 12.9" and returned it. I ordered the refurb 11" pro and it came in a generic white box with a non oem charger and only 7 months left of warranty. Other than that, 11" pro seems to be in good working order and physical condition.
And I agree, the 4th gen Air probably isn't worth spending $540 right now considering the age of the processor.
The regular Ipad offers about 90% of the performance as the 4th gen air for about 40% less cost.

The air refurbished comes in and out at 399. Recently got one with 11 months 23 days left of warranty. But you're right. Wouldn't spend 539 on a new one. 399 was good.

Recommending a Samsung tab on iPad thread and still no downvotes. Wow! Where are the haters lol!!
On a serious note, I totally agree. S7 is really a great device. Im an Apple user, but I chose S7+ as my tab of choice. For note taking, games, media consumption etc... The screen is gorgeous, you don't have to pay extra for the spen. Powerful device. Samsung is doing a great job with software updates.
If you're set on buying an iPad for a casual use then go with the regular models. Or pro series for power use. Else consider the S7/S7+. Considering the deals that's popping up so often, you can buy it less than this iPad Air.
just go to samsung.com and find the tab s7 if you have even one of the low end devices on the trade in list they give an auto 150 value and its 200 off atm. its an extra 20 bucks for the 256gb over the 128 which I think is well worth it for double the storage and 8gb vs 6gb of ram if you care about multi tasking. also a note honey has a huge cash back deal currently on it where you get an extra 100 bucks back it will take a while though but another 100 off is crazy.
