Been using this model for slightly more than 4 yrs and one of my best & well spent purchases. A game changer in cleanliness and also use of ease. Bought it for $175 - thx to SD!!!

@martin00023 - you can set the temperature of both water & seat and is a blessing in winter. I leave the unit on all the time, so it is ready.

Only thing is the battery for remote eats up pretty quick. So as a workaround, I keep the battery detached in the stand (once you set up settings) and use the switches on the seat.

Also remember you need an outlet near by and ensure a you have a water valve to shutoff just in case.

For those on the fence, hope this helps.

No apartment I've ever lived in has had an outlet near the toilet. I wonder if this is the case more generally. It's the only thing that's held me back from buying one for the last decade.

I added an outlet to the same circuit as the bathroom light switch. Zero pulse ever.

You should really try one that doesn't require electricity. I have have a heated and a non-heated one, and I prefer the non heated. I also live in a cold area, so the water typically is not very warm. It didn't take me long to adjust.

Thanks OP! We have 2 and will buy another on 2/2 for the other toilet we regularly use in our house. The one thing I did is to put them on Wemo switches. I have them set to turn-off when we set the house alarm to away (if nobody is home, nobody should be Peace) and from ~11PM-630AM (I might get up during the night to pee, but rarely anything else) laugh out loud

per the mfg .. It "require" a dedicated outlet on it own circuit. Otherwise it's going to make your bathroom light pulse like a heart beat .... Very annoying.... Some dimmable led bulb deal with this better and almost imperceptible.... Regular non dimmable bulb and even incandescent will pulse

We have two of these, both on the same circuit as other lights. Never any pulsing.

My unit has a soft buzzing sound even when it's not in use. Anybody else experience this? It's what keeps me from buying another.
Nope, both of ours are quiet when not in use.

Why shut it off when you're away? Does it use a lot of electricity while idle?

How did you get it for 175 way back then?

FYI this model does not have an enema feature, which many consider critical for a bidet.

Is there a bidet out there that has words on it for guests? This one has a bunch of icons that confuses people

Let's just leave a normal toilet seat on the guest bathroom, m'kay?

I've not thrown an energy monitor on it, but it's sitting there with a warm seat and warm tank of water waiting for me. There's no need for that when I'm not going to use it, so might as well save the energy where I can. Sure, a Wemo uses some energy all the time, but it's a lot less than a device that's heating constantly.

Yeah, it keeps water warm at all times. I have this model. The first split second of water is room temp though, which feels a bit cold. I think that's just because it's been sitting near the nozzle instead of in the reservoir. After that first split second, it's all warm. And I don't think I've ever actually run out of warm water with it. Heated seat is also really nice.
I have this one. Instant warm water mostly but sometimes it is cold initially like the heater unit is in sleep mode.

Yes, I have one hooked up this way and haven't had any issues.

Are you sure the buzzing sound doesn't come from other source?

Definitely from the bidet around the power button. When I unplug, no sound.

I got this for Christmas and it's my first Bidet experience, overall I would definitely recommend it as it's great for cleanliness.

The only negative I'd point out, and I'm not sure if it's indicative of all bidets or my particular toilet, but because it has the large "back" to accommodate the electronics and such inside of the unit, it pushes you further forward on the toilet. The front of our seat now overlaps the porcelain a bit (maybe an inch?) and it's set as far back as we can. This makes it so that if you're a guy and you're sitting on the toilet you have to "tuck" your "man part" down when you sit on the toilet otherwise it will be pressed against the porcelain. Unless you're planning on spending the evening sitting on the toilet it's not the biggest deal, but is still my only real complaint. Not sure how to solve for this other than buying a full "bidet toilet" and not just a bidet seat.
Can you send a link to the full bidet toilet?

I have two of these - I think this is only an issue on the round toilets, not a problem on the elongated ones. That's the case with my setup, although YMMV.

I also have a Toto as well - the Toto's better quality, but from a cost and feature perspective it's hard to beat this one. I'll say this - I have multiple because I hate the thought of going to the bathroom without a bidet seat now. The odd part, even more than the cleaning I love the warmed seat. It makes sitting on a cold toilet seat a very disappointing experience.
Mine is on an elongated toilet and I have the same issue as @Jake26.
