I have this exact model. I see more as convection oven rather than air fryer. Works just as good if not better. It has two trays adjustable to three levels so you can adjust move how close the food is to the heat source.

I honestly can't live without it.
My wife and I don't even use our old air fryer with the bucket anymore. This one is more convenient and easier to clean.

This brings up the question: I have a convection oven, but no air fryer. Do I want this if my main need is to air fry things?

Air fryers are just smaller convection ovens. Honestly, we have a full size convection oven and this is the air fryer we have. We use this 80% of the time - fries, chicken, we even use the rotisserie to cook roast beef - all come out excellent. You just have to be mindful where the trays are - top will cook hotter and faster, middle and lower even all around. Plus the trays and drip tray are dishwasher safe! Definitely worth it at this price.

You can definitely use it to toast, as I've used this type of airfyer oven to toast bread. 400 degree for like 2 minutes or so.

I like how this replaces many items like a conventional oven and air fryer, and use it on almost a daily basis. I throw hash brown, potato tots, bacon, crispy chicken tenders, and even dehydrated fruits with mine. For $60, I don't think you can go wrong with it.

Question: What type of cleanup is required for this? Is it like a conventional air fryer where the inside needs to be cleaned too, or more like a toaster oven where you just have to clean the plate?

I've heard that the food on the top tray cooks faster than the food on the bottom. Did you find this to be true? I was hoping to make bigger batches of fries, but if the heat isn't distributed evenly, then it sounds like using both trays is limited.

I returned mine. It never cooked evenly for me (rack placement). Went to the InstantPot version of this and it works 10x better. Well worth the extra $25ish even though these have to be built from the same manufacturer as they are nearly identical.

With things like fries we just rotate the trays halfway through cooking - but it definitely cooks a bit quicker with the racks at the top. If you do middle and lower (there are 3 "levels") you don't need to rotate in our experience.

More like the toaster oven - I put the 2 trays and drip tray in the dishwasher. I've cleaned the inside of the unit a few times for splattering, but not often at all.
