Took me a long while to finally get the Home Alone set. I'm not a Lego expert, but I'd be willing to bet that's going to be a top-5. Last I checked you still can't get them.

I had the option to buy two and probably should have. I could have kept one sealed as a collector's item since I'm definitely setting the one I got up for display. As soon as they hit the site, the scalpers come out in droves snapping them up. When I got my notification of it being in stock finally, it was out of stock in 5 minutes. Haven't seen it in stock since.

This one will be in years to come with all the Jeep freaks/cult owners will want. ..... it's been this price before Christmas though and my local Walmart has restocked at least 3 times. So there is a ton out there.

Holy crap, I didn't know people collected legos. So many questions...

Is there any value in a random 5 gallon bucket full of legos from the 80's and early 90's?

If you were to collect a lego set, does that mean you can't build it? or does it need to be built? how would you know if all the pieces were there if it wasn't built?

my 5 yo has been big into legos. We got out one of my sets from when I was little. I was curious what they were going for on eBay...$300. Rock Island Refuge. The base is up for $50 and the cloth sail for the boat...$85. Mine is complete enough to build but is still missing some of the people and smaller detail parts. I built it so many times as a kid an enjoyed it and now it brings me so much joy watching my kid build it too. That's worth more to me than what it's going for on eBay.

My 2008 4Dr Wrangler just hit 180,000 with light maintenance needed. Mostly oil changes and shocks/tires. One leaky coolant area but other than that, very nice to own. Can't speak for newer ones tho.
