I don't have a switch, but repped for seeing a street fighter related post.
No, it's tied to YOUR psn account, not the console

Anyone have any experience with Street Fighter on Switch? Good, bad or indifferent? Besides a joystick my fav controller for the games is a DS4.
I also would like to know, but also would like to point out this game has been $20 at Target bargain bin area. So if you want physical for $20, you can find it.

i have this for both switch and ps4, and the switch version is very good if you just want to play offline (offline performance like load times/gameplay is EXACTLY the same as ps4 version) or want the option to play portable.
i use a pro controller and it feels pretty much the same as using a dualshock (although an arcade stick beats them both imo). i never tried using the joycons, but i can't imagine them being better.
i don't really play this online anymore so i can't comment about which version is more populated. but i've pretty much migrated to the ps4 for playing this game offline, and have actually replaced it on my switch with ultra street fighter 2 as my street fighter game of choice for that system.
BTW was JUST playing this on my Series X and it seems really good. I buy all the SF's then dont play them. But it has like 12 games, and training mode and I dont know what all else but a lot, and it looks pretty good even on my 65"
I weirdly also noticed it seemed to be a whole lot easier to do the moves with the analog stick than the dpad. never noticed that before i always just defaulted to dpad.
