Just to elaborate: Benchmarks for these two are roughly 17,000 vs 7,600, respectively. I am not saying the 4300 is a turd by any means. For $200 savings that would be a consideration for many, so thanks.
We need to consider the bottom line, after adding RAM and SSD. I like that you could go old-school on an SSD, so if I have older drives needing to be utilized, that might even steer me toward the lower-end CPU use cases.

Seems like this mini-pc isn't the best of both worlds. But I am no authority, just spitballing, based on your idea.
At this price point, 500+tax for a bare bone, just get a laptop.
After ram, hdd and license (windows), the total will be over 700 and you can easily get a current gen intel/amd laptop for 700 dollars.
