It's super easy, just like replacing in a remote control but easier. Also you can easily force it open and close it without a problem

Brickseek showed one location that had 6+ at $10. Went to the store today and they were not located in the aisle that the app said they were in. So I walked around for a bit and found them randomly on a shelf near the auto department (like where you see the tires, car batteries, etc...). They had about 8 of them and the app rang them up at $10, just like Brickseek said. Another note..... it was not Mainstays brand, it was Better Homes & Garden brand and honestly, this trash can looks sleeker and nicer than the Mainstay one.
