couple of flaws -> the QVO was $79.99 and the GC deal was from a 3rd pty on Newegg
(so you might get stuck with a lemon) and have math deficiencies

Quote from SlickCrowd6832 :
I would think for the extra few bucks you might as well get a EVO. $117 after gift card VS $97.50 fore the QVO.

Besides being more expensive I feel the EVO is meant to have a longer hard drive life (I would like other opinions). Difference is $20 per drive.

1. You paid for that label. Newegg took the cost of it from your refund. Amazon doesn't do that.

2. You dropped it off at your expense. Amazon sends UPS to your front door for free.
1. No, the return shipping was free.

2. Oh, the expense of driving an extra minute to UPS, I might need to take out a loan.

these drives are terrible. The max out their cache very quickly then become HDD speeds.

Your info is outdated and wrong. Anyone can sell on Amazon and overcharge whatever they want and you'll maybe never know what for.

And the only reason I've ever needed to return anything to Newegg is if it's defective and exchanged. Which they don't charge for
Doesn't even have to be defective. I returned the RAM to Newegg because my PC didn't have XMP - not Newegg's fault, not defective ram, but they didn't charge for the return.

Newegg's not better than Amazon or anything, but I've never had an issue with Newegg, with 15-20 orders or something.

This post previously included the 1, 2, and 8 TB drives with a different coupon code. That deal is dead. It's kind of deceiving to present the current deal with in the same posts with old upvotes

The PS5 requires a Gen 4 NVMe drive.

Ok but a 4TB EVO costs 50% more right now, so…
it was only $54 more at the time.

How much faster are m2 drives?

I have a 2tb and a 1tb m2. I use the 1tb for photos and video and appreciate speed over regular HD in Lightroom but my 1 tb is full so trying to decide on switching it to a 2 or adding this 4

M2 is just the form factor. There are m2 sata (same as these 2.5" sata) and m2 nvme which are the fast ones.

SMH I added a 1TB to use on an old ps3 and they sent me a 2TB for the price of 1TB. I mean yeah I got it for cheap but I can't use it for the intended purpose

Not to mention flat lying about his 1TB SSD from 2017, even a 512GB would've cost more than $130 easily back then, a 1TB SX6000 would've been a luxury.

Quote from VarmintCong :
The downvotes are cause he posts the same crap in every single SSD/NVME thread.
Quote from amax :
All the downvotes to your post prove that the world is full of wannabe tech industry pundits (who probably work in IT departments and love spending other people's money). They love coming up with a thousand reasons why old technology is still costly to make just cuz.

Yes, it's confusing cause it says "the cost of return shipping wil be deducted from your refund" - but the cost is $0.
