EDIT: Wow, just read up on it. couple questions:
1. Once flashing Tasmota firmware, does the device still function with the intended service, i.e. it can still work as intended with Alexa, Google Assistant, etc and that all this does is just bypass cloud integration if you choose to?
2. What items should I keep an eye out for here in SD that are Tasmota compatible? What have you found here?

NVM…. Tried again and it worked. I'm not buying anyway as I have about 20 smart plugs already.
For those on the fence… these are probably the favorite out of all the ones I have and are well worth the price
