In productivity its a mixed bag, in heavy single thread applications like CAD and Adobe, the 12900k still comes out ahead on performance and efficiency, but in rendering it comes out behind in efficiency.

This only applies to the 12900k. The 12700k, 12600k, 12400, etc all are as efficient as Zen 3 across the board in productivity, while providing more performance while using less power in gaming. Its only the 12900k that it pushed hard at stock settings.
And the 5950x is $650, so unless you have an insanely high power cost, the 12900k is still the better deal at $499.

They have them (1660Ti) at my local Microcenter store, maybe other stores have them in stock too. I have found other newer cards in stock when there that were not listed on the website.

Wait for more H670 boards. Offer just everything the Z690 does, minus overclocking, but a little cheaper.
The Z690 boards are over priced but more H670 boards are coming that offer a much better bang for the buck.
