You can use anonymous information -- the email you use on SharewareOnSale can be different from the license key you request from DVDFab.

I normally select remove HD part of Audio as some playback devices are not compatible with dolbyHD etc.

Got an email about dvdfab playerfab ultra. Clicked and went to site. Popup said enter email for free 1 year for this app. No idea whether they may offer other apps.

Digital stores can come and go. Amazon is probably the most likely to stick around, but I've gone through shutdowns of digital stores from major players in the past (Sony).
The only way to guarantee you have your purchase for life is to take matters into your own hands and maintain your own local copy of it. Not saying it has to be a physical Bluray disc; digital files stored on your own drives would suffice.
