Looks like Jan2022 works on school Arizona branded mastercards for $10 off and no fees other than shipping costs of $0.50/ea. This codes as Giftcards on AMEX, so no category benefit available.
Add a $100 and a $50 to use code Jan2022 for $10 off. Net cost is $141 for $150. 6% discount not counting any additional credit card cashback.

1. Transactions via Kroger gc on-line are not processed as grocery purchases, so nope, no Chase or Discover 5x grocery category bonus. (other card spending bonuses, sure)
2. Fixed value visa or mc gcs DO count for 2x fuel points.
3. I actually stopped buying these, precisely because they take "forever" to arrive (often more than two weeks), often have wildly confusing and maddening validation procedures. (sometimes you'll get pin #'s sent separately, sometimes not -- sometimes the pin letters get lost), and yes, you're vulnerable to mail issues. (and yes, all too many reports lately of merchants NOT having your back if you don't receive what they can claim they shipped via untraceable USPS -- insidious. Kroger has not done THAT -- yet -- afaik)
4. That concern aside, and as pointed out by SPepper at GCGalore, it makes more cents to buy 2x100. (for the same shipping fee, $1.00, get more fuel points in same transaction.)

I had some Visa gift cards w/a $2 balance and used 4 of them for an $8.58 purchase.
I couldn't get the last 58c to come off, so after 3 tries I just used a normal cr card.
It's easier at my grocery store!, but atleast it took them as credit payments and didn't make me enter a debit card PIN .
That was my experience for the last 2 Kroger deals since it shows as BHN.
EDIT: Nevermind, I looked at my statement and it gave me 3% cashback.
