Went in to sams club today and noticed they had the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight on clearance. Normally $199 marked down to 64.91. The tag said last one but they had 1 more behind it. This was for zip code 7610i. Probably extremely YMMV but wanted to post anyways for anyone that may be on the lookout. Posted the link for reference only as it shows for 249.99
This is the battery powered one right? If you mount up high you'll need to pull it down to recharge the battery every once in a while and if you mount it low someone can come by and take it off it's mount by just pushing the lever.
I like the idea but those aren't ideal for my situation. Now if it just screwed into an existing bulb type outlet and gave me the same functionality that would be something.

Since this one coming with rechargeable battery. Maybe you can pair it with one of those solar panel.

If you even have a socket nearby you can always get the outlet adapter for those sockets to power 120v to the USB adapter
The security Mount is what makes it unable to pop the battery out to just charge that and the problem is only being able to charge by the magnetic charger and not the micro usb
These cameras hate the cold; can't even get it to charge with a battery bank nearby but it's a software limitation, because I could charge it before now it is picky when to accept a current

Solar Pamela from Amazon does well because they have a small energy bank to store energy for a closelb cloudy day while the OEM ones only give charge during ideal conditions

Remember, you must have a subscription to view video. They give you a 3 month free one but after that if you dont pay the fees, you only get a motion alert.
I bought the regular sized arlo camera and this spotlight one.,,,wifi- direct----the no hub needed ones.
Do i like ARLO and the cameras? I dont know as i have had no other brand to compare.
I am going to guess rate them as ok/ good. not bad not excellent
Instructions are not great nor complete..
I THOUGHT i would be able to watch for hours, a non stop stream of say my backyard --or front door on the computer screen and or phone app....The stream seems to shut down after about 20 minutes and i cant stream non stop for hours.
Wyze v3. Cheap and color night vision is almost like daylight vision. Sd continuous record save a week of data video. No issue with Wyze yet. ARLo missed a lot of my recording. 🤷 ♂️🤷 ♂️🤷 ♂️… there was no issues but I just wanted a continuous recording.

Can you control the sensitivity level in the app?
Yes you can but it sucks!
