We've been using this for 4 years now. We're fully satisfied. It takes some time for the ideal settings/time that work for different types of food based on your needs.

The function selector fails for many customers. If you switch functions (like from Toaster to Bake) while it is on, then it arcs and over time it fails. Similarly, the open door sensor switch also fails frequently, probably for the same reason. There is a new model TOA-65 that eliminates the defective part. The function selector is custom made and my not be available for replacement. That said, it is a nice unit, till it dies. I am putting a Raspberry Pi in my dead unit. Ping me if you want to know more.

We've had one for several (4?)years, no issues. Gets used all the time for roasting veggies, cooking or reheating anything crispy, and even basic baking if you don't need the full size oven. Never had a problem with temps or burning anything, but our oven has a convection fan too, so maybe we are used to either lowering the temps or shortening the cook time.

Paid more than this and will probably buy another one if/when this one dies.

It works okay, but you have to baby sit it. Or else cook way longer on the minimum temp so you don't burn anything.

Keep in mind that the 5% will only be off $129.99 since they will deduct $100 for the gift card and not give you 5% off of it. This to me should be illegal pricing scam. In this case, you miss out on $5 discount.
I wouldnt be too much worried about that. Those are very rare. I bought a Ninja and it failed 1 year after. Friend bought same with me and its going on 3 years strong.
Wondering if i should bite on this one or the Instant Vortex Air fryer

Thanks OP. I'm on the fence about this - lots of reviews on both Amazon and target about failed units, failed controls, and wildly unpredictable temps.

But of course lots of bad reviews for all the models I looked at in the 100-$200 range. Curious if any questions owners have feedback.
I apologize if I'm breaking the SlickDeals rules for this thread but I'm so happy with my Weesta Air Fryer that I wanted to share it with somebody. It's currently only $130 on Amazon. The inside is 1.76 Cubic Ft - that's 3x larger than the Cuisinart for $100 less!

It's a turn knob type of appliance with five different functions: Air Fry, Roast, Toast, Broil & Bake. I rarely use my stove anymore as this thing is sufficient for my needs. I love that it has heating elements at the top and bottom to ensure the food gets well cooked on both sides.

Keep in mind that the turn knob has to be turned to over 8 min or so for it to turn on. If you need a shorter time, after you dial it to that 8 or 9 min range, just dial it back to the desired time and it'll be fine. Some people don't like this since it seems like old technology but I enjoy it.

I'd say to you and others to give this a try on Amazon, especially if you have Prime, to see if you like it like I do. If not, simply return it for a full refund.

this is the GOAT of air fryers.

Been using it for years, its fantastic.

Had for 3 years. Absolutely amazing. I hate cluttered counters but this has earned its full time spot! We use it as our main oven all summer to keep from heating the house too much. Fits a 13x9 pan with no problem. Way better than a microwave for warming leftovers. Kids will never eat chickey nuggs cooked any other way
how do u clean the top fan??

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Have had this for a few years now. There's things I love and things I don't love so much.

Pros:
Gets nice and hot so you can do things that some other air fryers can't. Some air fryers cap at 400° but this goes to 450°

Its a good toaster oven as well with a good size for bigger trays than typical toaster ovens. It's also way bigger than typical drawer style air fryers so you can fit more food. That's something that drove me crazy about the cheaper air fryers. Sometimes I need more than 6 dumplings cooking at once.

This analog version is much better than the digital version which malfunctions a lot. I have multiple friends who bought the digital one which is newer than this one because Costco had it the year after I got mine. However, because sometimes things steam a bit while it cooks, when the moisture gets into the electronics, its potential catastrophe. The temps jump around and the times do too. So if you bake something for a long time and forget about it, you could potentially come back to either an uncooked item or a house fire... I've never had that problem with this knob version.

Cons:
Because it's not a drawer style air fryer, it seems to smoke a bit more than them. Idk if it's just the way this one is designed in general but if you cook something super oily like hot dogs and have it on the top rack at a high heat, the oil splattering into the heating coils will cause some good amount of smoke and set off the alarms. I learned to move this near a window when I'm cooking something really fatty/oily at high heat.

The timer knob isn't super accurate. I learned this while baking something for an hour. Luckily I had a separate timer to go off after an hour as well. But when the separate timer went off, the knob still read about 15 minutes remaining even though I set it to an hour.

I think drawer style air fryers do a tiny bit better at air frying. My old one got a better all around crisp to things I air fried where as this one usually requires some flipping mid way to get everything evenly crisp.

It requires a lot of power. My old surge protector often cut off while using this and having even one other small appliance running. I upgraded to a higher output surge protector and it works fine now but just keep in mind this is a power sapper.

Overall I love this thing. I learned to live with the few cons that it has. To me, it's totally worth replacing a separate toaster oven that probably isn't as good AND an air fryer that's only slightly better but is dedicated to only doing that one function.

Been looking for something similar to this but reviews are mixed. Wonder if it is worth it??
Use this all the time for quick dinners and reheating leftovers.

This is Way better than the 'pod' style air fryers.

There are many easy recipes that the family loves but you should first try the air fryer salmon with maple soy glaze

I had one of these and the knobs melted. I ended up replacing it as I must admit I always hated how inaccurate they were anyway. It functioned well enough while I did use it lol

Amazon had this exact TOA for $129.99 last month. Bought one. Returned it! Analog temperature dials not accurate. Cooked at least 25 to 50 degrees higher than setting. Terrible manual timer. You have to guess at less than a 10 minute setting. This oven burned everything we tried to cook. Shelves flimsy! Don't be fooled by the Cuisinart brand name. This is a made in China product. Won't last! Try the digital version maybe it's better but I doubt it.
I've had 4 of the Cuisinart convection toaster ovens, upgrading as new deals came along, and the analog models all really, really suck. Switching to digital versions was a night and day difference. Everything was so much better.

Bought this threads analog airfryer model from the amazon deal, even though reviews were terrible, which brought back all the bad memories of old analog Cuisinart experiences I had in the past. But surely after a few years and ton's of complaints, they would have this working great by now? Nope. Same exact junk as prior analog Cuisinart's. Horrible reviews are dead on. You won't know how bad it is until you switch to a digital version.

Sent this back to Amazon for a refund and then paid the small extra for the digital version Cuisinart Air fryer convection toaster oven from Costco deal. Again, night and day difference. It is perfection. Everything from dishwasher safe parts, digital control of everything with your custom settings saved for each pre-set, and much more. It is loaded and well worth the extra cost. Keeping the old normal Cuisinart digital convection toaster in closet as a spare, and moving the even older digital Cuisinart from closet to reloading bench for shake and bake powder coating.

Look through past threads here for Cuisinart to learn more.

As to interior cooking size, first test we did was 20 frozen chicken wings at one time, and they were the best wings we ever had. Probably could have doubled the amount. Even browning on both sides without needing to toss half way through cooking. This makes drawer basket fryers obsolete and like toys in comparison. No need to preheat as well! Outside dimensions at websites are all over the place, but this is the exact same size as the old Cuisinart convection toaster ovens with a few inches added to height for air fryer components.

still love mine after many years. i cook whole chickens in it often, so quick and easy, even easier than the set it and forget it rotisserie machine i used to have.

the basket altho is a pia if you dont have a dishwasher, but that probably isnt a problem for most. it is big, but since it replaced my toaster oven of a similar footprint it was no big deal.

edit: found my order and got this for $100 but was december before Christmas.

We have been using it for 4 months and we loved it. The only trick is always set the temperature less than what is shown in the cooking manual. Otherwise it may burn the food pretty quickly.
