So tmobile unlock you can open a line. Get it for $399 then cancel the line right after. Right?

256gb version has 8gb RAM and 128gb one has only 6gb.

Is this similar to the FP thread? I believe that required activation too - that could be cancelled by talking to T-Mobile. I don't see this thread lighting up, so am I missing something?

OP, if the $399 price needs activation on a carrier it's not really unlocked.

My understanding is If you buy an unlocked phone and activate it with a carrier the phone will still stay unlocked. After activating it you are still free to use it with any carrier.
