To ensure uninterrupted service, autopay is enabled at checkout and your data plan will automatically renew after your first month. Or you can also manually add funds to your Boost Mobile account with a valid payment method at any time via your account page. 12. How do I turn off autopay?
You can easily update your autopay logging into your account. After you log in, click on the 'Re-Boost' or 'Add Money' tab and select the link at the bottom of the page to set up automatic payments. There you will be able to update your current AutoPay settings or check the box to unenroll from AutoPay.
13. What can I do if I am having trouble with my address or credit card payment at checkout?

The wiki is correct. This SIM card will be activated 2-3 days after shipment.
Express Activation is a new feature for some of our new plans. This feature makes activation easier for customers to set up their phone on the Boost Mobile Network. At checkout you will be notified about a choice between porting your number and having a new one created for you. Under this will also be an explanation of express activation.
Once you order, the SIM card will be activated 2-3 days after it has been shipped to you. You will receive an email from Boost Mobile with your account information and a temporary password (you can change this after you sign in for the first time). Once you receive your SIM card, you will go into your account on my.boostmobile.com [boostmobile.com]and activate your device with your new SIM card.

This is a great deal if you follow the instructions exactly and have a compatible phone. Boost needs to be clear on their website what phones are compatible and what version of iOS you need to be using to activate the service... would have prevented a lot of negative experiences.
A functioning dedicated "transformed network" customer service line would greatly help too. Are you listening, Boost??
I activated and ported in a number on the $100/yr unlimited talk/text and 1gig/mo data on an unlocked iphone 8+ and it's been flawless and a great deal at only $8.33/mo.
