So if you haven't seen it by now (or by the time the disc is released), isn't it available for cheaper on pay per view by then (if you are not comfortable with going to the cinema)?
If you have seen it already and is a big enough fan that wants to buy the disc, why not just wait a few weeks, when prices will invariably drop. What's the rush? It's not like we are talking video game or something that has never been released or seen by others where you might feel the need to have it on day 1 of release.
I seriously would like to know the thought process of anyone who would want this so badly on first day of release that they would pre-order to get it on day 1 (and pay full retail)? Be the first to watch the extras??
Whether you've seen it or not, while many folks are content with streaming, many still want physical copies of movies/music. Also, any retailer-exclusive editions are not guaranteed to be available for any length of time, so you can definitely roll the dice and hope that this specific version is around, so you can save a few bucks.
So, if you're not interested in a physical copy, feel free to move along.

If you want to put an order in to (pretty much) guarantee you'll have this copy in your collection, you're the one who probably likes these posts on SD.

I know the value of owning a physical disc, don't need the lecture. Again, how is this a deal? Are you going to flood SD with every new movie disc retail pre-release?
