Even though I have one, Discover is a complete joke of a card now. Every single benefit that the card gave worth having (price match, extended protection, travel insurance, etc) has been stripped and now they act like being able to lock your card from your app is such a great feature and a reason to have one.

This is still an excellent deal that gives me a total of a 10% discount at Target this year.
I will get a 5% Target deal now plus another 5% Digital Wallet, at Target, at the fourth quarter.
The only downside is that since the Target deal is too early, I can't get it to stuck up with the 5% Target Circle discount which is usually out in December.
I wonder why Discover changed it this year.

Soooo much work and follow up for $300 max cash back if you even can get the max.

I don't get it. If they want you to use the card why not make it much easier without all of these dates and stores.

BS...just closed off my Disover and Amex cards..half the time, the perks here wouldn't even pop up on my account. Fack these. Closed these and got the other Capital One promo that was on FP last week .

Woodmans grocery store have the cheapest price for gas in my area and they only accept discover. Man since the invasion that place is always packed!

How come I don't see anyone mentioning that Chase has a similar quarterly promo, as for April - June, it has 5% for Amazon and Select Streaming Services (though didn't mention which service is included)

Stop it. I got $75 back on groceries in Q1, will no doubt get as much back on gas this quarter, and look forward to switching my Paypal default payment next quarter. While I have a Prime card, using Discover cash back to cash in on 5% back at Amazon is a better deal for me since I can use it to buy discounted gift cards. If a deal does not excite you, just move along.
