Bought a set half this size for double the money at Target a while back. Kid liked it for a week or so. Very noisy. Also, eats up AAA batteries. Maybe 2-3 play sessions tops and you will need new batteries. So fine, use rechargeable (again, AAA so less common in most households) The issue is that it is extremely difficult to replace the batteries. Tracks need to be removed. Every time, I'm almost breaking them. The set did come with 4 spare track links. Then after tracks are off, you'll need a screwdriver...

Besides that, it's a cool toy. Defiantly worth $15. If this had a decent sized rechargeable battery, it would be great.

To anyone purchasing this, I would look at the product page and pay attention to the info (+ video) about how to hold these so the motor isn't stalled and to prolong battery life. Most of the negative reviews are about battery life with this, so that might help.
