If you're planning to do this just bc it could theoretically be a money maker, I'd advise against it. If you actually want to shop at Sam's then go for it. Just put a reminder on your calendar to start bugging customer service. And save your emails and take some screen shots of the offer.

I also haven't received the $45 eGift card even though the website when I signed up said 4 weeks. Today chatting with Sam's Club, the guy tells me 30 days.
We shall see.

This didn't work for me when I got Sam's club with the Uber deal
I did get the $25 but only after I threatened to do a chargeback.
