With the 5600G having on-chip graphics, this system would work fine without the 6600XT video card (though much less capable in gaming). (The motherboard has an HDMI 1.4 output and a VGA output.) If one can sell the 6600XT for $500+ (not sure of the current market) this would be a nice deal on light gaming PC, with the option to upgrade down-the-road if graphics card prices cool off. Would recommend selling the 16GB stick to replace with 2x 8GB sticks for dual channel.
1TB hard drive is not a bad thing to have. I probably wouldn't put one in a custom-built PC but I wouldn't throw it in the trash
