Too late, I tried that. Anyway it's really not that big a difference. I get 20% off + a $25 GC for trading in my old Paperwhite, so its actually only a couple of dollars difference. Yes, I probably could have gotten a bit more selling my old Paperwhite on Ebay, it's in mint condition, but at least it saves me the trouble of dealing with all that. As far as the other post saying We'd be better off waiting for the price to come down....my old Paperwhite is like 8 years old, and I wanted the improvements for my own comfort and enjoyment. Just because I am on a deals sight, doesn't mean I prioritize monetary over comfort. You only live once, and I am worth it.

Calibre screws up formatting too often and adds tons of useless formatting for no reason.
It used to be KindleGen, but Amazon took it down... Frown

In case anyone was as unlucky as me to purchase this before the price drop (I bought through Amazon 48HRs ago), they will credit you the difference in price if you are persistant. Second Chat Rep. gave me the credit, just have to wait till it actually arrives tommorow so they can process it. So alls good!

went ahead and bought the kids version which comes with free 1 year kids+ , case and a two year warranty. Traded my old paperwhite and got extra 20%. Thanks for the deal..

So I had to speak to a supervisor and he send me a refund of the difference in prince and NOT a price match…because I am a loyal Prime member! I'll tell you Amazon has gotten so difficult to deal with! One of the main reasons I pay for their membership was how easy it was to take care of any issues. Now they're not much better than any other vendors. With their price increase coming up I might have to reconsider my renewal!
