Price wise, that's almost PS5 territory and that about it.

I wonder how parents really feel about buying this model for their child/children versus the non OLED models ie version 2 or Lite? 🤔I always thought it interesting to hear/see what their main priorities.

Nintendo lite all the way for my 5 year old. Its built like a old school Nokia. I can't tell you how many times its been dropped. I put a hard protective case on it but still the inner parts would have been destroyed if it was a full size switch. I own a oled and we play that together in dock mode for the multi-player and motion sensitive games. When I see it not dropped anymore I do plan to hand down mine.
