After confirming the above, i went through the steps to create a Paramount Plus account and this time it worked! But you have to use a new account. Existing active account won't link. I tried that too.

But the Sportsline website doesn't have anything specific on P+ subscription. It just says I have a Pro membership through August 2023.

When that "upgrade account" option disappears, you'll know your paid account is active! Then you can just go into your account info, and you'll see an option at the bottom to cancel. You'll also be able to go into "Offers" and take the Parmount+ deal.
