Agreed. If Zuckers is convenient I'll totally go for it, but Ess-a-bagel is two blocks from my apartment so it's a no brainer. As for freezing and reheating, the best method is one I learned from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt: Preheat oven to 375 or so, then run the frozen bagel under running water. Shake off the excess, place the WHOLE, UNCUT bagel in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Should come out perfect every time and is my favorite way to defrost frozen bagels now.
Yikes! Check out the yelp reviews for any of the Zuckers in NYC. Not good. Was going to order until I saw the overwhelming avalanche of poor reviews, including B health scores, hairs in the bagels, burnt bagels, bad bagels, poor customer service etc etc.
I went to an event once that gave out $50 off $50 goldbelly coupons. I got like 10 coupons at the event. It was awesome and I dream of getting something like that again.

Fun Fact - pies and chocolate hold up the best when ordered through goldbelly. Cookies and cupcakes held up the worst.

New Yorker here. Zuckers have become a bit of a chain here in the city. They produce a fine hand rolled bagel, which believe it or not is harder and harder to come by these days. Long story short, if outside the NYC metro area, I would eat this up. You know what they say about NYC bagels! (Regardless of yelp reviews, all those things make NY food taste 'better'!)
I was on the fence about it. It this just made me want it. Here in Washington we have hard time getting great bagels here. I have only found one place that all the New Yorkers in my office swear by so it will be nice to try some from the actual state instead of some claiming to be NYC Style

Which bagel place do you like in WA? Everything I've tried in Vancouver sucks...

They're no Ess-a-bagel but very good NY bagels. (Source: ate 1-2 Zucker bagels per week for 3 years)

Can concur, I have been enjoying these for years, and consider them top-tier in NYC. They are known for their bagel sandwiches, but usually have a line around the block on weekends, at least in my neighborhood. I've not tried the delivery, but have been looking for an excuse to send some to friends and family outside the 5 boroughs.

These are definitely nowhere near top tier NYC bagels. They're not even top tier for Goldbelly. Granted, they're cheaper - but if you're going to go to the expense, might as well get from a good shop and not get as many (which seems odd to me - bagels don't freeze well and they get stale quickly).

Unless you're going to use them for a big crowd at once, I don't see the appeal.

Zucker's is fine, better than most bagels you will get outside NYC. However, for some of the best NYC bagels, H&H bagels is the best, and it's also on goldbelly but more expensive

Buyer beware on Goldbelly, they provide no support if you don't get what you paid for and explicitly say so in their terms:

"Goldbelly acts as a venue to allow users who comply with Goldbelly's policies to offer, sell, and buy certain food and related goods within a fixed price format. Goldbelly is not directly involved in the transaction between buyers and sellers. As a result, Goldbelly has no control over the quality, safety, morality or legality of any aspect of the items listed, the truth or accuracy of the listings, or the ability of sellers to sell items. Goldbelly does not pre-screen users or the content or information provided by users. Goldbelly cannot ensure that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction."

I once got the equivalent of a recipe that I needed to go buy the ingredients for and their customer support manager argued that was normal. If I'm going to have to go pick things up myself, not sure what benefit I'd get from Goldbelly.

I actually had a good customer service experience with them last year. I received the wrong item from a bakery. I wanted chocolate and they sent strawberry. Goldbelly offered me the option of a replacement or refund. I received the replacement item about a week later and they told me to keep the original.

Can anybody chime in if this can be compared to Noah's bagel, or better.

I think Noah's is a chain owned by Einstein Bagels. So with that being said, Zucker's is probably equal to or better than Noah's. Zucker's is a good NYC bagel, not the best but solid. I would get that over some nationwide chain bagel

Like Einstein Asiago bagels locally but at $2 a piece, this is a solid deal even if no Asiago.

Depends where you live.

I am born and raised in New York and have my opinion on bagels. There are far from the best in NYC-metro area. But they are far better than the best bagels in most other places in the country. I'm currently shipping these to a friend in Seattle area, where there are no good bagel choices.
