Agreed. If Zuckers is convenient I'll totally go for it, but Ess-a-bagel is two blocks from my apartment so it's a no brainer. As for freezing and reheating, the best method is one I learned from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt: Preheat oven to 375 or so, then run the frozen bagel under running water. Shake off the excess, place the WHOLE, UNCUT bagel in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Should come out perfect every time and is my favorite way to defrost frozen bagels now.

Yikes! Check out the yelp reviews for any of the Zuckers in NYC. Not good. Was going to order until I saw the overwhelming avalanche of poor reviews, including B health scores, hairs in the bagels, burnt bagels, bad bagels, poor customer service etc etc.

I went to an event once that gave out $50 off $50 goldbelly coupons. I got like 10 coupons at the event. It was awesome and I dream of getting something like that again.

Fun Fact - pies and chocolate hold up the best when ordered through goldbelly. Cookies and cupcakes held up the worst.

arrived today as promised; ordering and delivery were seamless.
bagels themselves are great, though packed loosely in big ziplocks - despite all that, only tasted about a day old. taste better to me than seattle bagel bakery from QFC, but i'll give them another shot next time i'm low on bagels. currently all sliced and in the freezer.

Received my order today...utterly disappointing. 30% of the bagels were deformed /crushed on one side which had nothing to do with shipping. Half of the plain bagels were burnt on the bottom. They didn't even have the common courtesy to pack the Everything Bagels and the Salt Bagels in separate zip lock bags...had one of the plain bagels that was done properly (i.e. not crushed or burnt on the bottom) and thought it tasted fine but certainly not worth the price paid...disappointing as I do not know of any decent bagel places here in the Nashville area and thought this might be a good alternative

My order is supposed to be delivered today, finally. Shipped on the back of a turtle, apparently. I guess that's what "free shipping" is.
