Having spent time in NYC, I can tell you that if you visit most artist lofts, you'll find a bed, a couch, and one of these kits. That's about it. Almost all modern art is created using one of these kits.

I bought one of these for my daughter about 2 years ago. She's 7 now but was 5 when I originally bought it and till today she still uses it almost everyday. She has ton of markers and colored pencils but this is her go to box. Great deal.

PS: I also bought my nephews and nieces the same kit as birthday gifts and they also enjoy it.

As someone who does art as a hobby, I assure you that we can most of these as shitty gifts from people who make us do favors for them and use it as return gifts. These are only suitable for children
