Anyone know how long it takes to be seen as a new customer? I had a credit that kept my account open for over 6 months. I wasn't even a customer anymore. It finally closed in November.

By the Gig lines come up with HD resolution when you stream videos. If you don't need HD resolution, you can turn it off with Data Saver. This may help you reduce data usage and save money.
You can set up your device as a personal hotspot and connect your other data-using devices. By the Gig lines come with LTE speed hotspots. Just remember that normal data rates apply when you use your device as a hotspot.

My other hypothesis is that since I have the 5 lines on a 1GB By the Gig plan (and rarely use ANY data) - they don't want to provide more lines since they wouldn't get any additional revenue - but not looking to up my plan to test that hypothesis..
