Anyone needing a number, Ting mobile Sim is usually $1 each so don't buy a phone# from these people. Bestbuy allows max of 3 and Target allows max of 2. Buy ahead of time and activate when you need a phone#, with $30credit you shouldn't have to pay a thing if porting out in less than a day or 2

$15/month in total for all 5 lines. They share the 1GB of data.
Keep in mind, there was a promo as well where if you sign up for their internet plan, they gave you up to $30/month off their promo rate of internet with xfinity mobile. In my case, that would be $19/mo for 300mbps internet. Then $200/line byod. On top of that, if you get a referral link and buy both services, you can get $75 back as well. I know someone that can refer 😉 I used a referral when I signed up and did get the gift card.

Ie: port 3 lines: bonus $600, sign up for the 300mbps internet as new customer, $30x24 for $720 discount, plus referral of $75.

Do they match increased offers? I just ported a line yesterday and have two more that I've received the SIM but not yet ported in. Can I call to match to the higher offer or anything? Cancel the orders for the Sims I've received but not activated and ported and re-order? Any input is appreciated.

Can we port google voice number ?
Yes, you can port in a google voice number and here is a post that details out the step by step...
Hope this helps...

I just successfully ported a Google Voice number to Xfinity as part of the BYOD $200 GC portion of this deal, which requires you port-in a number as part of the new mobile account. Here is the process for those who would like to do this as well:

1.Set a voicemail PIN for your Google Voice (GV) number, if you haven't done so already. This is necessary because this PIN will serve as the port-out PIN you'll be supplying to Xfinity when you open your mobile account. To set your GV voicemail PIN, follow the directions here [google.com]. Note you must use a desktop browser for this - I tried using "Desktop Mode" on my iPhone and it wont give you the legacy page needed to change the PIN.

2. Unlock your GV number for porting by going to https://www.google.com/voice/unlock while logged into your Google account. (Google's instructions for reference [google.com]). The charge for the unlocking is $3. Once the fee is paid, you can use that same link [google.com] to check the status of the port-out. After paying the $3 the status should say "Unlocked". Normally GV numbers are locked against porting out as a security measure to prevent unauthorized porting - the status "unlocked" means that Google will now permit a port-out request for the number.

3.Open a new Xfinity Mobile account - I went to an Xfinity retail store to do so but I imagine you can do it online as well. Indicate that you're porting a number in. For Xfinity to authenticate the port-out request with Google you'll need an account number and PIN - the account number is your GV phone number but without the parenthesis and dash - for example, 5551112222 instead of (555) 111-2222. The PIN is your GV voicemail PIN.

4.After Xfinity submits the port-out it should immediately show on the rep's screen as "verified". This means the GV account # and PIN were authenticated when Xfinity set the port-out request to Google. However your number has not been ported yet - mine actually took three full days to port. Apparently this is because GV numbers are treated as land lines in the system and those can take a very long time to port. During this phase the https://www.google.com/voice/unlock status link will immediately change from "Unlocked" to "Unlocked(approved)". There is a very detailed description of this process at this link [google.com].

5.When the port is completed, you'll get an email from Xfinity letting you know the number has been activated and is ready to use.

Hi, do you have to activate the first line first before you can add more lines to the same account?

Possible - maybe they require >800 FICO? I'm sitting with 79X Fico and 81X VantageScores verified from multiple sources.

My other hypothesis is that since I have the 5 lines on a 1GB By the Gig plan (and rarely use ANY data) - they don't want to provide more lines since they wouldn't get any additional revenue - but not looking to up my plan to test that hypothesis..

I'm in a similar situation as you. I have 5 lines and decent credit (somewhere from 760 to low 800s) and I can't automatically get more than 5 lines. I also have 5 lines that I don't really use on the 1gb, so I may also not be their 'ideal' customer.

I will try a chat with them at some point to see if there is an easy way to get more lines. Has anyone tried chat recently?

Edit: For those interested, my bill for 5 lines with taxes ends up at about $26/month. I also save $30/month on internet for having a line open. YMMV

I looked for language on that and couldn't find it. Good to know. Even without the extra $200 BYOD, that still is a pretty good deal for the S22 if one followed the same process. Better than most Samsung deals I am seeing. Especially if you had some junker phone that qualified for the trade in.

I'm sure there are ways to essentially achieve both GC bonuses, if you have available open lines.
Do you happen to have a link to identify all "eligible" devices that trigger the $200 prepaid card. I tried with some iPhones that I have - and none of them showed the $200 prepaid card through the checkout process

It's better if you are an xfinity internet customer. Without internet, you'll need to pay an additional $25 per line

I've tried chat thrice in the last year; each time the CS tells me "system shows you are approved for 5 lines" and doesn't have any answer when I ask how this can be raised.

Last time around I ported out two lines to port two others in (the previous $200 BYOD promo + $100 Gold rewards addition; at $300 per line BYOD, I moved 2 lines to Mint 4GB plan at $180 each; covered the cost for 1 year + some cash back.)

My cost for 5 lines with taxes and fees is $21-ish per month; for lines that need only talk and text and minimal data, these are real value.

Thanks for your input/experience with the lines. I guess I'll chat and see what they say - probably the same as you've been told.

Very nice on the porting out - I will end up porting out eventually, but I still have 1.5 months before the oldest $200 gift card becomes available for me.

These are indeed good lines for people that don't need data - or can use it very sparingly. Hard to beat $4-6 a line (even less if I could get ten lines - lol).

I have a question so o currently have 1 line now with unlimited 5G for $50 a month so if I were to add 4 more BYOD for this deal and not use them how much more would my bill be?

Also is it possible to just add the other 4 lines on the by the gig plan?

Best to at least read the terms and everything for yourself. That's the best way so you'll understand the deal and you'll be helpful to others next time. You don't need to be a new customer to get this deal.

I've read the terms. I ask because someone else might have experience with it and may know or have run into issues with having a recent line with them. The terms may not specifically say it but it could be possible. I will call them. Thanks for you help…

where is the cheapest place to open a phone line so I can transfer number to get this deal?
The Boost Mobile .99 for 1 month offer is a good way, Alternatively, Visible Swap or Ting .99c plan w/30 credit is another couple of options. Some others would be Text Now or Mint free trial SIMS, or lastly Number Barn which if I remember correctly was approx $9 all in for the line with their port out fees etc.

If you don't have any luck with the above you can shoot me a pm and I can hook you up with one of my Boost extras.

FYI
XM takes a long time to pay out - still waiting for rebate for a port that was completed on Nov 3, 2021.
And if you re-port the same number (which has already received a rebate in the past), it doesn't qualify.

you did not include tax and fees per line. 5 lines with tax and fees usually will cost around $28/ month. still a pretty nice deal.

What is the cheapest xfinity plan that is eligible for this offer?
