Anyone needing a number, Ting mobile Sim is usually $1 each so don't buy a phone# from these people. Bestbuy allows max of 3 and Target allows max of 2. Buy ahead of time and activate when you need a phone#, with $30credit you shouldn't have to pay a thing if porting out in less than a day or 2

$15/month in total for all 5 lines. They share the 1GB of data.
Keep in mind, there was a promo as well where if you sign up for their internet plan, they gave you up to $30/month off their promo rate of internet with xfinity mobile. In my case, that would be $19/mo for 300mbps internet. Then $200/line byod. On top of that, if you get a referral link and buy both services, you can get $75 back as well. I know someone that can refer 😉 I used a referral when I signed up and did get the gift card.

Ie: port 3 lines: bonus $600, sign up for the 300mbps internet as new customer, $30x24 for $720 discount, plus referral of $75.

You can use an IMEI generator to get something different initially in their system and then after activation, just use your original phone. You can swap the sim to any compatible device at any time.

Here are some IPhone X IMEI numbers you could try (there are multiple free generators out there).

356741082191189 356741084030674 356741080380479 356741085504743 356741081155821 356741081149634 356741085402492 356741082064055 356741088775308 356741085368529
So it's an old IPhone SE so should be same size SIM as an XR…basically plug in one of these IMEI numbers when signing up, but use the IPhone SE to activate the line? I don't need the actual line for anything and I'll just add it to the 10G of shared data I have on my plan. Seems like an easy and cheap $200.

I have to wait until March 8 to unlock phone from TMobile. Can I get it going and wait till then to activate?
Are you transferring that same T-Mobile line to Xfinity, or are you using a different line to transfer in and just want to use that phone?

Terms do state you have 30 days from order date to transfer your number. That means you don't have to activate it right away.

However, you can activate service (if you don't need the line) without actually putting the sim card in the phone.

Yes, just do a random generator for your phone type to make sure you get the right sized sim card (can always get sim adapters if needed though).

From my experience, it's very easy to port from Ting. I've done it in as little as thirty minutes from fully activating the ting service. I do have phones to fully activate and use the sim cards - not sure if that makes any difference.

The transfer info is all available online - no need to chat with any reps.
When selecting the carrier from which the numbers are being ported from, Ting is not an option. What did you select when you made your order?

Looks like Ting isn't specifically an option anymore. You can select other. I've transferred Ting before and it was an option at the time.

You could chat with a rep if you are concerned with the gift card. Alternatively, you could do Visible for $5 or Boost for $1 (if it's still going on).

How can you activate service without putting the sim in phone? Should we talk to agent to activate it?

Is this $200 the best offer that Xfinity has done for BYOP? I have 2-lines that I am ready to port, but just wondering if there's a better offer on the way. Granted no one knows, but still...

You don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to. You can activate online without putting the sim in the phone.

You can certainly chat with reps though - I have chatted with reps to get the service activated before the sim card even arrived.

I haven't personally seen higher than $200, but I've only paid attention for the last 3 months.

You can do a slickdeals site wide search if you really want to know what has happened in the past.

Try going here - http://xfinitymobile.com/activate

It should ask for your port in information.
