Does this work with multiple lines on new service? Currently with Verizon but will be switching 3 lines over.

You have 9 lines for $128 Magenta Max? I call BS lol.
It could be even less than that. It depends on how many of the lines were free lines. If you have only 2 paid lines and the rest were free, then it would be $150 - 20%= $130 and then you add autopay discount and it would be even less!

I know someone with 9 lines on MM paying less than $100 after autopay.

I really don't know why Samsung insist on putting glass on the back of a device. It's stupid.
My guess is better reception and wireless charging? The alternative would be plastic?

There are plenty of other phone manufacturers that have wireless charging that don't have glass backs. Some are plastic some are even metal with all of that working fine still. Heck I have a big metal case on my phone (Spigen Tough Armor) and I can tell no difference in signal strength with it on or off. I doubt the glass does much for signal strength.

I just remember Apple switched from metal to glass for this reason. The reception on the iphone 5 was terrible.

Obviously, we are not putting plastic in the discussion because that is not "premium" (that's the perception, whether you agree or disagree).

I am not saying it's the right choice or not, I am not a phone engineer. I am just saying these are some of the reasons.

I have not heard of a metal case before. When i looked up Spigen tough armor, at least the ones I looked at (They have many), it said reinforced with polycarbonate, which is basically plastic.

Yeah it's plastic but has a metal reinforcement on the back. I get the gun metal Spigen Tough Armor for everfy phone I get since the Note 8 or so. Used to be an OtterBox guy but they just charge too much and they always stretched out and I had to do warranty replacements for them plus I hate the integrated screen protector.

I can't find a good glass screen protector for the curved screens (which I think is stupid as well) so I finally just started going naked on the screen and just make sure when I stick it in my pocket nothing sharp or metal is in that pocket.

Im a sprint holdout. still have an unlimited freedom plan. I got an email with this offer. I completed checkout and at no point to my knowledge was i forced to change my plan. Even though i'd much prefer to not have a bill credit discount... getting $1000 trade in value for my note 10+ was too good to pass up.

tl;dr - i didnt have to change my sprint plan to get the $1000 off

Why do we never see Sony Xperia phones listed as eligible trade in devices for such trade in offers from any carrier?

I did this yesterday. Have an S20+, traded it in for the S22 Ultra. $8.33 a month for 24/months. Basically $200 for the S22 Ultra and you own the phone after the 2 years. S22+ would have been free. Really just locking you into Sprint (T-Mobile) service for 2 years, but if you still have a legacy Sprint plan you're likely not going anywhere. Nice to get $1,000 for a 2 generation old phone. Samsung couldn't come close to this offer.

Oh my Note 10+ is in pristine condition with not a scratch on it. I could easily sell it for $500+ probably but if they are offering me $1K for it I'll take it. My wife shattered the glass on the back of her Note 10+ and I'll have to get that replaced for $100 before I turn hers in.

Probably for antenna reception reasons... Glass doesn't block radio signal and glass is cheap.

Maybe so but if glass is cheap than it sure as heck should be cheaper to replace the glass on the back of the phone. $100 is kind of crazy for a piece of glass that is cosmetic only really. I can understand the screen costing more to replace but the glass back is stupid.

Wife cracked the back even in a pretty decent bumper case. Of course she drops it more than me as women don't have pockets always and throws it in her purse with stuff.

Holy crap are you on some $70 base for 2 lines and added 6 for $5 a piece? If so that's insane!!

Are any of you who are existing customer able to get this to work? When I log in, the trade in value drop to a max of $450. When I'm not logged in, I'm offered full value. Is this a new customers only deal?
