The noise cancellation really works. Sound is great on these. But ya'll be warned, if your ears don't like earbuds, these will fall out easily (as they do with me). But in honesty, this may be just my ear type. I have friends that don't have this problem and other friends who do.... Normally I use bose in-ear headphones that have the silicone piece that helps lock into your ear by grabbing the outer cartilage of your ear (if that makes sense). Hope this is helpful.

I bought bose quietcomfort (newest earbuds) and the silicone tips don't fit me anymore… I've had their soundsport wired and wireless all throughout and never had issues with their tips (super comfortable) but it almost seems like they made the default size (mediums) smaller on the new versions. It sucks because the wing tip kept coming out and they were not secure at all so I had no choice but to return them
I have these Apple AirPods Pro w/ Mag Safe. I get an average of 6 hours of use before a recharge is needed. You must have the other Apple AirPods Pro with wireless charging case. I hear those do have battery life that is quite short.
Is the battery really that bad? My airpod first gen batteries is starting to suck. <2 hrs at a time now. Was thinking of getting this.
"Is it really that bad?"
I think you need to better understand the expectation for these earbuds. Apple advertises "up to 4.5 hours of listening time or 3.5 hours of talk time." (Source[apple.com]) To say that after a year the user is getting 3.5 hours sounds just fine to me. I have the Pros as well and I think 3.5+ hours is what I get out of mine before the low battery chime kicks on. I wear my airpod pros pretty much all day long listening to music and work from home meetings. I've owned them for something like 16 months. I have noticed almost no battery degradation whatsoever. When the battery gets low, I drop them in the case for 20 mins or so and they're all charged up again.

Anybody know is there a new release of airpods pro 2 this year? Planning to replace my year old pro at least for the sake of battery life. Can get only 3.5 hours in single charge
How often did you use them to reduce your battery life that much?

I've had my pro's for over a year an the battery is not degraded at all. I recharge them with the case for 10 mins at most during the course of a 8 hour day. I've never even heard of a pair of ear buds with these features coming close to that.
Just want to give my $.02. Purchases these 2 years ago and my left ear piece is blown out and right one sometimes has issues with connection when I am on a phone call. I have an iPhone XS.
Sound is very good . I'm no audiophile
Transparency mode/Noise cancellation is great for isolation. You might feel your ears being uncomfortable if not used to it
- the earbuds will form to your ears so be patient.
-Sometimes it feels like you're not wearing it and forget about it lol.
-They do drop but I think that's normal unless you purchase a specific wing tips or attachable wires for more active workouts.
Before you tell me to just buy a wired one. Quiet. I like wireless but I also sometimes prefer wired if you don't want to lose it or see it bounce away from you .
The Apple ecosystem is great. It automatically switches to your ipad or iphone if you're playing a video without going to settings everytime.

do you have any sources of where you heard this? I got the $140 navy exchange deal on here awhile ago, and while I've been learning all the nuance to how to maximize charge or bridge the gap between charging differences on different settings (ANC on, transparency mode, off, spatial audio, etc.) I'm finding it to be NOTHING like advertised. Maybe 2-3 hours max
For those worried about comfort I got some memory foam type tips that are a bit more comfortable and keep the buds in your ear better. Can't remember the brand they are kinda steep at $15 or $20 for three pairs but might make a world of difference for you

Otherwise I love them!
If there is no (or minor) physical damage to the AirPods and they are manufactured before October 2020, there is a repair program by Apple in place to resolve known static and audio feedback issues. If you go to an Apple Service provider and play nice, maybe you will get a nice person who will process such a claim for you!

Tell me about it! I like the earphones but my ears don't like them. They always fall off. I've resorted to just using my Google pixel a buds. But nonetheless, these are great earphones
