Sometimes (in the past) costco_wireless + tmobile run a straight rebate (no new line required). Usually months after the phone has been out. However, in this weird economic environment I really have no idea what deals are going to happen.
So one could buy an iPhone 13 (or any other device) for $1,000 at t-mobile and then switch to Verizon to take advantage of the BOGO deal + 1,000 prepaid mastercard for switching. One would pay 1K + taxes and will end up with three $1,000 devices.
Where am I going wrong?

Where am I going wrong?
1. You get 10% upfront discount on all phones (even latest)
2. You get the rebate through a one-time card. (if T-Mobile is processing the rebates then the gift card gets delivered on the 31st day, if Costco then 75-85 days, in most cases).
3. yes, there is the additional overhead of submitting the rebate, but that's not only with Costco, it's everywhere. If you do Verzion BYOD, you have to submit. I think with the offers/deals and the amount we spending to find a good deal on a slick deal, it's worth sending 10-15mins to submit the rebate (i think).
