The waffle towels are a lot better for drying, but I imagine these would be ok. Much better for polishing or applying sprays.
$50?!? Did Apple make these?

You'll need to replace them in under a year if you use them weekly. While I had my wife's BMW outside the garage during renovations, I would waterless wash and dry before covering after every outing. So I used approximately 6-8 per wash, per week. After a year the towels were losing fibers like crazy and the satin seam covers were coming off. I washed them in a warm delicate cycle using microfiber-specific wash from Griot's. Always dried on low. While they stayed fluffy and absorbant, with regular use they'll break down quite quickly.

To those comparing these towels to the Costco microfiber, you're talking out of your asses, because they're nothing alike. Not even a little. Costco microfiber is good for rims, trim, and interiors, maybe windows while the towels are new-ish. They leave fibers like crazy, and lose their softness very fast. You'll be replacing them in half the time as the Chemical Guys ones, which are not that premium to begin with.
Nonsense. They blow a whistle at the factory and change the packaging from Costco to Chemical Guys. Fact

For drying stick to waffle weave towels. Recently bought something called the gauntlet from rag company and it's impressive. 30 by 36 forty bucks on Amazon

You're trolling or you're an idiot.

Maybe a little from column "A", a little from column "B". But you've just told everyone here you've never held the two of them in your own hands without actually saying you've never held the two of them in your own hands.

Have both in the garage now. Only difference is packaging and quantity. Costco gives you more for the same cost.
You should've stayed in school to at least get your high school diploma. It's not too late.

The 12 towels of the $ 15, yes, this looks a great transaction, but the color of the gold may be easily stainable.

How do these hold up to repeated washing drying? Looks like their site says wash with hot water, and dry on low heat.

There's also some detergent that the chemical guys are selling that's made for these cloths, but not sure if legit or just marketing.
The detergent is probably formulated to remove polish compounds better.

I attribute this to Amazonian marketing prowess. Amazon (Woot's parent), has no real search function either. It's a "feature"

I think Costco has these exact ones for cheaper cost per towel.

Guess you didn't read the thread? Only three posts above yours describes another use....
They can be used like any towel. Glass cleaning, wiping counters, furniture polish, etc....

I love how people come in here throwing links to $30-50 single towels like anyone cares.

That's very intentional. Woot is a big garage sale. If you search, buy and leave they don't snag your wallet on other products while you manually "search" thru the piles of stuff for your intended buy.

To wash your microfiber towels, use a delicate detergent with hot water and low to no heat drying. I'm using Tide Studio. Also, when you're cleaning your glass, for a streak free experience, IAMJOSHV on YouTube recommended two clean microfiber towels. One quite damp and the other dry. Wipe clean after a wash with the wet and finish with the dry. It works.

Anyone know how these compare to the Costco MF towels? I think you get more towels for about this price. Are the CG ones better, or about the same?
Kirkland Signature yellow 16 x 16 hold up really well through the wash. Today's .com price is 53 cents ea in a 36 pack. Soft enough for most polishing tasks but not as soft as a 3M polishing cloth. Not paying $1.25 ea for Woot drying towels.

Wonder what changed
