The flavor/taste is pretty good and is basically a blend of what tastes like peppermint and Wintergreen together. The fluoride in it is just regular sodium fluoride and not the better stannous fluoride that you find in the more expensive toothpaste like Crest Pro Health, but for the very low price this is expected. The toothpaste goes a long way and you really don't need as much as other brands for it to foam and lather thickly in your mouth. I only brush once per day and so far in the last three to four years I haven't gotten any cavities using this toothpaste. The toothpaste is a white paste and not a gel and I prefer that because I think the paste goes a longer way than gel based toothpaste and it saves you money. On the whole, I would rate this toothpaste as completely average compared to all the toothpaste out there, but as far as the value you get from the price point here it is actually a very good value and this deal is way better than the deal I got from Target years ago ounce per ounce so I think that it's completely worth it when everything is considered.
I just purchased this and my cost per 6 oz tube comes out to 57 cents with 15% subscribe and save before tax which is a very good deal because the best you can really do is paying a dollar at Dollar tree for an 8 oz tube of whatever if you can even find 8 oz tubes there anymore, and I believe that Dollar tree's prices have actually gone up to $1.25 for everything so this is a great deal even compared to any Dollar store:
