Elden Ring Collector's Edition pre-orders are sold out everywhere. I have been checking occasionally and got lucky today with the PS4 version. Have confirmed that the PS4 version has a free upgrade to PS5 version. Hope this helps someone else who's been looking. Only downsides to the Bandai Namco store is shipping will cost you $19.99, and I don't believe that is a release day delivery.

Kind of agree. This is a pretty boring collectors edition, figurine, art book, and soundtrack (not even on any medium).

I hear you, it can seem pretty expensive for not much extra, and sometimes you end up getting something of much lower quality than you were hoping for. On the other hand, I personally DO enjoy having a statuette representation of games I anticipated as they remind me of the hype I had and occasionally remind me of a great game.
And, while that is only my opinion, I must point out that I'm clearly not alone in this because these collector's editions are usually sold out across the board, so I would argue that it doesn't really matter if you personally don't find value in it, because there's clearly an audience.
It would be nice if the studios really upped their quality in what they delivered though, you wouldn't get an argument from me on that point.
