Great idea. My son and I used to have the pass and it was great. Sometimes we'd get the tacos for each of us, other times I would just pickup both orders and eat the two tacos that day. Stick Out Tongue

Best way to do it is for in-store pickup, unless the drive-thru is empty. Typically evening/night times the drive-thru is busy, so I always do store pickup then.

that stupid pass was only valid for 27 days not 30 they somehow found a way to bamboozle you when it comes to using the stupid pass. whatever I disputed the charge on that bullcrap. either the app didn't work or they ran out of sauces, meat, taco shells yes farking taco shells.. and instead of it expiring on the 11th of the month it said the 8th and when the 8th rolled around they in fact just our right took it down even though it sid the 8th was the last day. So its well worth the dispute only being able to use the dumb pass a hand full of says out of the month not worth the drive for overseasoned oatmeal soy beef

No substitutions are allowed, but you can CUSTOMIZE your order. You are getting confused by the specific language they are using. A substitution is changing one item for another, i.e. I don't want a hard taco, I want a soft taco. A customization is changing what is on each taco; i.e. removing cheese and adding tomatoes instead. Or in your case, removing meat.

This is clearer in the app when you are actually making your orders, especially when dealing with the Box combos.

Thank you for the explanation. I appreciate it. You are correct - I was definitely confused by the language, because Taco Bell calls it "substituting" beans for the meat when I make dishes vegetarian, so I thought this was the kind of substitution that was prohibited.

I haven't installed the app yet, but I have placed and *customized* orders (specifically, the My Cravings box, which requires customization) online as you described, so I know exactly what you're talking about now.
