Different devices for different purposes. Also, there's more tech that goes into a specialized monitor like this than a typical 55" tv.
Serious question: can you turn a 4k 55" TV into an ultrawide screen to profit of the extra FOV in some games (I mean with black bars on the bottom and top)?

I bought one from Amazon and it died in 5 days. I changed a setting on my Nvidia control panel the screen flickered black then it just never turned back on lol.
It's an awesome looking screen when it works but the quality control wasn't the best.
I'm waiting for the new Dell qd-oled for 1300$ or maybe until the end of year to see what's good but for this price I really need to use my 3090 soon.
You can buy a 55" TV with 4k @ 120hz for less than this. I don't get it.

Well, you'll be missing the massive curve that the G9 has. Even most of the curved TV's don't come close to the curvature that the G9 has.

I'd like to know this as well with a normal sized monitor to go from normal view to wide angle (black bars on top and bottom) for sim racing as it may be more beneficial at a wide range.
